Waste Management and Awareness Campaigns

PlanEarthWise CBO plays a leading role in waste management across schools, public spaces, and the broader community in Awendo Municipality, Migori County. Through targeted awareness campaigns, we educate individuals and organizations on proper waste segregation, recycling, and safe disposal practices. Our goal is to reduce the environmental impact of waste, mitigate pollution, and promote a circular economy within the community.

Tree Planting and Greening the Community

We recognize the essential role of trees in mitigating climate change, enhancing biodiversity, and improving air quality. PlanEarthWise CBO organizes tree planting drives in schools, local parks, and public spaces to contribute to reforestation efforts and increase green cover in the municipality. These initiatives aim to inspire a sense of environmental responsibility and encourage community participation in restoring natural habitats.
